Hooded Dragons, affectionately dubbed Hoodies or HDs, are a recently discovered type of Eastern Dragon. Their faces are constantly shrouded with hoods (Humans have never have figured out where they get them). They wear these hoods to protect their eyes, as they are excessively light sensitive. Too much time without their hood could result in permanent eye damage. They never show their faces to anyone except those closest to them, such as their owner or mate. Hooded Dragons are omnivores; they enjoy fresh meat and fresh fruit, and they love to steal human treats, even though it's not very good for them. Hoodies are roughly as tall as a human being at the shoulder (6 feet), big enough to be ridden. Since their discovery, many people have begun to take them on as pets. They don't require much work, just lots of love, trust, and good food. They are warmblooded, but prefer hotter temperatures. In prime conditions, they can even breathe small jets of flame that can be literally any color. If you can get close enough to your Hoodie, perhaps they will trust you enough to show you their face.
